8.2 Application Function

Application functions are called in rules similar to subprograms. For each function, the name, the used programming language, and the type of the return value have to be specified.

Up to eight parameters can be given to an application function. The following specifications are possible for parameters:

The definition of a parameter is indicated by an activated checkbox at the beginning of the parameter line. If a parameter is to be removed, the checkbox has to be deactivated.

If the application interface is separated by using application objects , the individual applications will also be edited individually. You can switch between applications by using the application list located below the function list.
