The ISA Dialog Manager is available in three versions:
- IDM for Windows;
- IDM for Motif (for Unix-like systems with X Window System);
- IDM for Qt (für Linux mit X Window System).
The following table shows an overview of the platforms for which we offer ISA Dialog Manager 6 as standard.

We strive to build and test ISA Dialog Manager for the platforms and system configurations our customers use. Please contact us if your platform or configuration is not included in the overview. In most cases, the ISA Dialog Manager also runs on systems with a different configuration than mentioned in the table. And we would be happy to port it to other platforms for you.
Trial licenses
We offer free test licenses with which you can extensively test whether the ISA Dialog Manager also runs on your systems or specific configurations. Of course, you can take advantage of our support during the term of a test license.
Older IDM versions
The previous version ISA Dialog Manager 5 was developed and tested for Windows versions Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Therefore, we cannot provide support for the operation of the IDM 5 on newer Windows versions as part of our maintenance contracts and recommend using IDM 6 on Windows 8 or higher. If necessary, we are happy to offer you special maintenance for the IDM 5 on Windows 8 or higher at.
Older platforms (legacy systems)
We know from working with our customers that current versions of the ISA Dialog Manager can also be used very well on older systems. Additionally, there are a number of platforms that we do not support out of the box, but which we have supported in the past or to which we have ported ISA Dialog Manager for individual customers. These include
- Terminals with AlphaWindows, for example Siemens 97801, Wyse 30/60, DEC VT220, HP 2392A and HP 700/9x;
- Servers and workstations from DEC and HP with Alpha processors (operating systems OSF/1, Digital UNIX, Tru64 UNIX, VMS, OpenVMS);
- Servers and workstations from SGI and Siemens-Nixdorf with MIPS processors (IRIX and SINIX operating systems).
